Be grateful for the days That you breathe Even with iron skies And falling leaves Some things in this world You won’t believe Be grateful for the days That you breathe I’m down feelin’ blue All the time Now I don’t want to Feel this way When I look at the sky I only wanna cry I know I have to change my ways Be grateful for the days That you breathe Even with iron skies And falling leaves Some things in this world You won’t believe Be grateful for the days That you breathe When it looks up I get suspicious In every way Searching for the Clue to my case Instead of embracin’ I’m turning away From everyone Who’s got a smile on their face. Be grateful for the days That you breathe Even with iron skies And falling leaves Some things in this world You won’t believe Be grateful for the days That you breathe We’re so lucky to be here At this great round joyful ball Soon it will all be over And that is all Be grateful for the days That you breathe Even with iron skies And falling leaves Some things in this world You won’t believe Be grateful for the days That you breathe

Things going grey Can’t get away today Never enough time Working all the time no time in the pines I’m going to get through For you And me Sunshine and moonlight Gets all in my eyes The sky and the water Make everything all right Everything’s wrong Caught in the throng When will it be All right Eyes shining bright Smiling at the sights Everything’s good For you And me Sunshine and moonlight Gets all in my eyes The sky and the water Make everything all right

Some would say better late than never Others say better not at all Some would think that you’re being clever This all happens before the fall Organized as a dozen or more Ain't United at all Look ‘em in the eye when you tell them It's just like it was before the fall Some like to tell white lies Others say don't tell the truth at all And some will laugh at the tears you cry This all happens before the fall Organized as a dozen or more Ain't United at all Look ‘em in the eye when you tell them It's just like it was before the fall

Enough 04:31
Every time I see you I fall in love again And anytime I hear your voice I know it’s my best friend Whenever I feel your touch I know it’s all ok When I think of you It brings a smile to my face But will it be enough for us? Who knows? When you say sweet things about me It melts my frozen heart You draw a clear line for me And still I blunder across Your patience and forgiveness are a Deep and generous well But I wonder often times if We’d be better off by ourselves But will that be enough for us? I don’t know My darkness overtakes me again And I thought I had it under control My darkness, will it ever end It’s a long road to know We thought the world was something It turned out to be something else Still Every time I see you I fall in love again And anytime I hear your voice I know it’s my best friend Whenever I feel your touch I know it’s gonna be ok When I think of you It brings a smile to my face And that maybe enough for us Do you know?

Broken Code 02:58
There’s a disconnect Without a solution An architect Of convenient intrusion A moral sect Of ethical confusion A derelict plan For our retribution Broken code We’ve been down that road Broken code Reap what is sowed An Epithet Too long; didn’t read Right or left What does that even mean? Where we are Doesn’t matter at all Nearly far Is the end we can’t forestall Broken code We’ve been down that road Broken code Reap what is sowed

Time moves on Jaggedly Was this really Meant to be? All in all It's good enough Buying in To all our stuff The deepest recesses Of your mind Are nothing compared With space and time Back to front The way it is Never really Caught the gist We have lots We take more Tell ya again So don't get bored The deepest recesses Of your mind Are nothing compared With space and time Solve it once Fix it again That's your life Good luck, friend Well talk is cheap But cheaper still Is the person Who pays the bills The deepest recesses Of your mind Are nothing compared With space and time The deepest recesses Of your mind Are nothing compared With space and time The deepest recesses Of your mind Are nothing compared With space and time
7.
Begin Again 03:22
I often worry When everything’s calm Memory’s blurry Maybe I’m wrong I know it sounds crazy But I’ll say it again Head that is buried Knows that grain of sand Begin again Always the right time Begin again Never too late Begin again Don’t think so deeply Begin again I know that it’s heavy And it seems so long You know that you’re ready The feeling is strong I’ve been here before But it doesn’t seem that way Open the door And I’ll fly away Begin again Never the wrong time Begin again Always up late Begin again Feeling so deeply Begin again

Back when I was younger it all seemed so simple Now it seems simpler still If you go off the rails and swallow that bitter pill Well I knew all of the answers Or most at least Now none of that matters as My face begins to crease Look back and laugh At the things that you did Look forward and cry About all that you’ll miss Look around and make a list Look down to the ground, it’s there, waiting While I got older I didn’t get wiser Only more patient and bolder But what was I confidently waiting for? Now I go on my eyes, Ears and brain weary I don’t have the energy to think that clearly Or for anything else Death feels like too much hassle, So I put it back on the shelf With my last breath Will I feel peace, panic, love, ennui? Things could have been better, worse, more, different but this is the way that it is for me Life energy gone, where does it end up? Look back and laugh At the things that you did Look forward and cry About all that you’ll miss Look around and make a list Look down to the ground, it’s there, waiting
